Kid-Friendly Performances this Winter! | Birmingham Bloomfield Hills Moms

There are many performances in Detroit over the next couple of months! There is something on this list for all ages and interests!

 

1. Sesame Street Live! Let’s Party! Take part in the sunniest and funniest street celebration. Wednesday January 22nd-Sunday February 2nd. Fox Theater.

 

2. Russian Ballet, Sleeping Beauty: Saturday, February 1st at 2PM. Macomb Center For The Performing Arts. 44575 Garfield Road, Clinton Township.

 

3. Disney on Ice presents Road Trip Adventures: Hit the road with Mickey Mouse and his pals for a high-octane ride. Exciting twists and turns await as Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and guests of all ages embark on an interactive and memory-rich adventure to iconic Disney destinations. See Mary Poppins, Moana, Simba, and Woody and Bo Peep. February 13th-16th at Little Caesars Arena.

 

4. Nick Junior Live! Move to the Music!Sing, clap, and dance to the music with your favorite Nick Junior characters- Bubble Guppies, Paw Patrol, Dora the Explorer, Shimmer and Shine, Blue’s Clues and You, Blaze and The Monster Machine, and Top Wing. Fox Theater March 6-8th.

 

5. Rosie Revere, Engineer and Friends: A fun new musical based on the books Rosie Revere, Engineer: Iggy Peck, Architect; and Ada Twist Scientist by Andrea Beaty, which spotlights the STEM curriculum (focusing on science, technology, engineering, and math). 60 Minutes. Recommended age K-4th. Showing at Meadow Brook Theater, in Rochester. February 29th 10AM and 1PM.

 

6. Lightwire Theater MoonMouse A Space Oddity: Lightwire Theater proudly presents a cosmic adventure about celebrating differences. Marvin the Mouse longs to have adventures and be the hero. As he retreats to his science books and a word of fantasy, he embarks on a space adventure of a lifetime in his homemade rocket where he meets a strange cast of misfit creatures. No age restrictions. Music Hall Center. Sunday, March 1st at 4PM.

 

7. MasterChef Junior Live! MasterChef Junior Live! brings the culinary hit TV show MasterChef Junior directly to fans and foodies alike…LIVE on stage!  The family-friendly stage show will feature head-to-head cooking demonstrations and fun (sometimes messy!) challenges with past MasterChef Junior contestants, and an overall immersive audience experience fun for all ages. Thursday, March 19th at 7PM. Fox Theater.
