BORN YOGA CAMP

Kids weekly themed-yoga and aerial yoga camps at Born Yoga are the perfect way to make the whole family feel refreshed and rejuvenated during Summer break. Kids will spend the week (3 or 5 half days) learning, exploring, and laughing, all while experiencing the benefits of their kid’s yoga classes! Their camps provide a wide range of fun and stimulating activities that will develop your kids’ bodies and minds. From stretching and moving to painting and outdoor water play, your kids will never be bored at our kid’s yoga camps. Their experienced and friendly instructors pay attention to every child to make sure they have the best possible experience.

Each camp includes outdoor yoga, water play, arts and crafts, peaceful play, kindness skills, and picnics. Born Yoga provides a healthy NUT-FREE snack.

Cranbrook Schools Summer Camp

Unforgettable Summer of Fun, Amazing New Opportunities. For years, Cranbrook Schools Summer Camps have been a tradition of fun and learning for campers of all ages. Hosted across our 319-acre campus, our hands-on summer programs offer a true Cranbrook experience. We are committed to providing high quality, educationally relevant, and truly fun opportunities for our campers.

Cranbrook Schools Summer Camps are the only camps in Bloomfield Hills that are accredited by the American Camp Association. This important distinction ensures the highest quality in safety, staffing, and programming.

Camps operate up to 8 weeks, for age 3 through entering 12th grade. Lunches and snacks are included. Transportation services, extended care, and after camp activities are available as options.

CRANBROOK SCIENCE CENTER CAMP

Explore Science! Give your inquisitive camper the opportunity to dive into popular science topics including chemistry, geology, physics, and more in a fun and safe environment this summer. This full-day camp is perfect for those entering kindergarten – 6th grade as they tackle experiments and activities designed to meet the level and needs of each age group . Sign your child up for one week or more – activities do not repeat! Their new online registration system makes it easy to register in advance and secure your spot. Extended care is offered for both AM and PM.

DETROIT COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL

Detroit Country Day School (DCDS) offers unique summer camps and programs on their three campuses.

Their Maple Road Campus (Lower School) program offers week-long sessions for children entering PK3 through fourth grade (ages three to ten years old). This year the program will take place in their newly renovated Lower School campus which features charming neighborhood décor throughout and three innovation galleries.

Their Lower School camps aim to challenge, engage, and intrigue your child. All sessions are designed and taught by DCDS teachers. Children must be potty trained and three years old before June 15, 2020.

They have camps that incorporate a range of activities such as reading, science, math, cooking, sports, arts, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math together).

Some themes for this year include: Adventures in Art, Bonjour Paris, Disney Crafts and Creations, Under the Sea, Fairy Camp, Out of This World Space Camp, DIY Fashion Camp, and much more!

Programs held on their Hillview Campus (Middle School) and Thirteen Mile Campus (Upper School) are typically for the older students (fifth grade through twelfth grade). Sessions cover a range of academics, arts, and athletics offerings. Session length and dates will differ depending on the program.

ROEPER SUMMER PROGRAMS

Camp life is part of your child’s total education. Roeper Summer Programs offers unique opportunities for your child to have fun while exploring their interests with programs for children age 3 through grade 11. All of the camps offer diverse activities that focus on fun, personal growth, and diversity.

Their campus includes woodlands, a creek, an athletic field, two swimming pools, three playgrounds, nature trails and numerous buildings containing art, music and tech classrooms. Their Community Center contains a gymnasium, catering kitchen, lunch room, classrooms and locker rooms that serve both the swimming pools and gymnasium.

Sessions are 2 weeks long, and are $740.
Hot lunch is included in all full-day programs. Before and after care is also available.

THE ROBOT GARAGE CAMP

The Robot Garage develops their own curriculum and projects in-house and the program designers oversee staff training and camps. They strive to develop camper confidence and nurture an interest in engineering and technology in the world around us. Because everything they do is centered around hands-on learning, they maintain very tight staff to camper ratios – generally 1 to 6 or 8 depending on the group and age level. Campers bring lunch, water bottle, and 2 snacks.

They offer 1 Week Camps for Grades 1-3, 4-5, 6-8 (as of fall 2020), from 9 AM to 3 PM Monday-Friday. Before & After Care 8 AM-6:00 PM is offered.
