Studios in our community have adapted quickly to the need for VIRTUAL WORKOUT classes! Whether it is a class streaming live on Instagram or Facebook, or ZOOM- or recorded sessions to view at your leisure, there are a ton of options from our local studios! Take a look at what is out there, and perhaps challenge yourself to do 3 new workouts a week! You might find a new studio that you will want to be a part of once this time passes. Moms- we are now home with our kids, all day every day, and NEED to move our bodies! Take care of yourself mommas!
STRENGTH AND CARDIO
Join their free classes LIVE with an AKT trainer! Find the ATK GO page on FB and “like” AKT Royal Oak to get updates. Also, every workout video will stay on their FB page for 48 hours post the live recording as well. Follow them on Instagram @theaktroyaloak. Look for tips from their trainers as they each do a takeover about what they are focusing on (mindfulness, vegan recipes, etc.).
Follow them on Instagram @f45_training_royaloak and on Facebook to find their workouts that you can do at home, and for the link to their YouTube videos.

Find the Birmingham Studio on Facebook, at Orange Theory Fitness Birmingham. Orange Theory coaches from around the world have posted Orange Theory Fitness-At Home workout videos on the website HERE. They are 30 minutes long and different every time. Try it out, and don’t forget to tag #OrangetheoryAtHome with your results!
Great workouts every day online- Follow them in Instagram @RPMBIRMINGHAM. DM them to be added to the group. Download the TRAINERIZE app to be given their link to YouTube workouts.
Live free classes through Zoom, sign up with the MindBody app and you will get an email from them with the link. Also the recorded workout can be done if you signup for the replay. All virtual workouts free until April 1st. They also are posting free home workouts on days they do not have virtual classes. They can be found on Instagram @tiffanys_training.

Pilates Mat Classes with Cindy Mullins

Virtual classes can be booked on the Mind Body app. $10 per class or $89 for 2 weeks unlimited. Individual sessions are also available, message the owner Brooke at Brooke@reformingfoundations.com and she will set you up with an instructor. $50 for an individual session. Virtual Membership: You can currently purchase membership access for 50% off your first month. (The lowest priced option = 8 classes/month for $99, which would be $49.50 for your first 30 days.). You will get access to local and national members-only FB groups. Those groups have several live-streamed workouts daily. It also includes access to Barre Code on Demand (pre-recorded), and meditation and journaling exercises. When they are back to in-person classes, this membership would transition to 8 classes a month, or you could choose to transition to a different package that better suits you.
