When Birmingham mom Carrie Carlisle Schulze @carrie_carlisle posted an amazingly hilarious photo of her family, depicting life during the COVID-19 Quarantine, I reached out to her the next day, and we both knew we wanted to make something BIG out of it! So Carrie and I created, “Porch-raits for a Purpose” to benefit Humble Design, and help local families who have hopes of having a home of their own. Plus, we thought moms could use some comic relief during this stressful time!
Carrie is a creative mom, graphic designer, and has a passion for photography. She spent an entire week organizing photo shoots and taking the porch-raits of families throughout Birmingham and Bloomfield Hills, representing their experience during the quarantine. Thank you Carrie! The photos were taken from at least 6 feet away to provide for acceptable social distancing! A $25 donation was suggested, but we were thrilled to receive even more than that per family. ALL proceeds are going directly to Humble Design. 💗

Our photo sessions have concluded, but we invite you to take your own porch-raits, and post with #porchraitsforapurpose, and tag @Birminghambloomfieldhillsmoms and @Carrie_Carlisle.
