You are about to launch an incredible business for our community, Fascination Factory, can you tell us about your vision for this play-based learning center?
To be local families’ destination to enrich their children’s lives with programming and play-based learning. We will strive to be an important part of milestones for child development and offer experiences that nurture those milestones, ultimately creating a community caregivers and children rely on to improve their lives for the better.
And let’s brag about the location in the Railroad District? It’s perfect and there is parking! Tell us what parents can expect upon their visit with their kids?
“The Factory” is a large, open play space without restrictions. The tall ceilings and ample natural light create a welcoming environment. In the center of the space is a large, cozy family area where caregivers can enjoy a coffee, connect with friends or even knock out some emails!
Let’s talk birthday parties. We had a great conversation as we share the same aesthetic. Give us a few things we must all know about throwing a party for our kids at Fascination Factory?
Fascination Factory takes your child’s birthday party from standard to FASCINATING. The Factory will handle everything from goody bags, Papa Joe’s food, and Meri Meri paper products to scheduling and activities – all you have to do is bring the cake.
A birthday party at the Fascination Factory includes an hour and a half of open play and 30 minutes of celebration. The Fascinators (staff) will handle all pre-party set up, keep things tidy during open play, and once the party is over, the Fascinators handle all clean up, allowing parents and children to be all in for the entire time!
I honestly can’t wait for moms to experience this. We’ve had some coffee dates and I’m so thrilled to share this. Anything else moms should know about Fascination Factory? Opening week? Membership details?
Moms should know that they can call or place an order for toys and gifts on our website. They can either drive up pickup at our rear door or get wrapped gifts and toys delivered to their home on Friday afternoons – just in time for all of those weekend parties!

From broker to marketing and everything in between, I contracted all female professionals for getting Fascination Factory up and running.
What made you decide to raise your family here?
I grew up here but spent 8 years away in DC and Chicago respectively. When I moved back “temporarily” for business school, I feel back in love with the area and knew it was where my future family belonged.
What’s your favorite family activity to do in the summer?
Spend our Sundays on my family’s lake!
What do you do to balance your own life and motherhood? What do you do for “me” time? Juggling your own business and kids is always hardwork.
I know I can’t be the mom I want to be to my daughters without taking time for myself so I try to go out of the way to make sure I get “me” time in. Luckily, I have a great support system to help with the girls so that I’m able to do things like exercise, meditate, get pampered, and have child-free time with friends.
