A little bit more about Kathryn and why this has become her passion.
Kathryn was an ICU nurse for 5 years. She spent a long time feeling like she just put a bandaid on a bigger issue and never felt like I was doing much to really help people, she decided to become a nurse practitioner but still felt like I just learned to give a “pill for an ill” in my training. She discovered functional medicine and learned there was a way to discover the root cause of chronic health issues and how to fix it. She dived into an extremely intense functional medicine certification over the next 3 years and finally feel like I am making a difference in people’s lives. Along the way she learned multiple different regenerative health procedures while I worked as a nurse practitioner and feel that those all align well in this space. She is able to offer more natural procedures designed to make you look and feel your best.
Helping mama’s feel their best in Functional Medicine
When she started seeing functional medicine patients, she took anyone with health concerns, but over time she realized the people that were really seeking me out, and the ones ready and willing to put in the work were moms that felt like their health had taken a downward spiral after kids. She developed a passion for this patient population and have really structured my practice around busy moms that complain of extreme fatigue, sleep troubles, weight loss issues, hormonal imbalances, gut issues, among others. She also is able to do procedures such as the O shot to help increase sexual pleasure and help to heal urinary incontinence after child birth as well as the vampire breast lift which helps lift and fill breasts without a traditional breast lift.
Fun fact about Kathryn because all moms are fun!
There was an old band she loved growing up. They stopped touring when she was 12 so I never got the chance to see them live and she was really sad. When she was 22 they went on tour again so I saved money and drove to see them for her birthday. She wrote them a letter telling them they were my favorite band and she was coming to see them for her birthday. In the middle of the show they called me up on stage and sang me happy birthday and a few other songs she asked for. Best night of my life.
