How many children do you have and what are their names and ages?
I have 2 strong and lovely girls: Milena, 10 and Livia, 8
Where do your kids go to school?
They go to Pierce Elementary!
Can you tell us a little about yourself and how you got started as a Disney planner?
I was born and raised in Brazil, moved to the US in 2004 but I’ve always been Disney obsessed since the first time I have ever visited Disney World in FL in the late 90’s!
I never stopped going ever since I moved here and got to the point I became the go-to person from family and friends for all tips and tricks. That is why I created my Insta page in 2019 with the intention to exclusively share Disney tips. Little did I know I was about to make so many great connections to Disney lovers and experts who would eventually help me get in a position to live my dream and help so many families experience the magic hassle-free.
But before I got there, I was a full time Operations Manager Assistant at a local bank until I decided to quit my banking career to pursue my passion and here I am: a proud Travel Expert with We Do Travel Right, an authorized Disney Vacation Planner and also an Universal U-Preferred Agency.
How do you balance your role as a mom with your work as a Disney planner?
I’m always trying my best at being very intentional about my time as I’m sure many other amazing women out there are who are passionate about their careers and their children.
I use my time away from the kids while they are at school to fully focus on my clients and to create my content as a tool to make new connections and potentially grow my business.
I also have to mention that meditation is another tool I use daily to help me organize my thoughts and emotions. Not sure how I would manage without it Lol.
How often do you visit Disney with your own family, and what are your favorite things to do there?
As a family, I make a point to visit at least once a year! However, this year we’ve already been on a Disney Cruise in January and we just got back from our trip to Disney World after the girls were done with school!
As an agent, I am a Disney Passholder so I go very often. Whether I go on my own every time a new resort or restaurant opens or when Disney or Universal invites us agents for their Educational Programs or Tours.
How do you customize Disney trips to fit the unique needs and preferences of each family?
That’s my favorite part of the process because I take my time on asking various questions to each family to help me understand and identify exactly what they expect out of their trip based on their plans and needs. I start by sending them my vacation quote where they can share their plans and we go from there.
Not every Disney trip is the same and that is why I play such a unique role in my client’s vacations. The possibilities are endless!
How do you cater to moms or parents who might be interested in planning a vacation with you?
The most important thing is to know that working with me is 100% complimentary. That’s right!! When clients book a trip with me, they unlock access to loads of knowledge, our incredible dining team, exclusive digital content and more! Suppliers pay us to help travelers, clients do not pay for our free services!
My clients are also invited to free exclusive seminars and “Study Halls” to learn about dining and experiences, My Disney Experience app, Cruises, Lightning Lane and MUCH more!
I also offer a paid Virtual Guide service on the side, not associated with the Agency for clients who want to extend my concierge services while they are on vacation.
Tell us a fun fact about you?
I have a degree in Computer Science with a major in Computer Programming. I am a true nerd and very proud of it Lol.
